All the parents that were at the Baby Loves Disco party in Philly last weekend were wondering how the 6 and 7 year olds downstairs were “spinning” with their ipads.  This is the secret - the djay app  for the ipad. Well worth the $19.99 and kids of all ages can use it — so easy, you JUST might think you’re a real DJ (psssssst — you’re not!).

Very rare that, in the United States at least, we come across a City that we haven’t played.   But somehow, someway, the stars never aligned for us to play the OTHER side of the Bay — Oakland, Ca!  That all changes March 25th when we host Baby Loves Disco at the Parish.  Get your tickets now.

My wife’s the coolest for many a reason. #7623 — all she wanted for her birthday was Just Dance Three. Here she is getting her groove thing on with the boys, a true Disco Queen.   Reason #6512 — she’s as cuddly as a kitten in a basket.

With no discos ’til the 12 we have time to sit and think about random things, and by golly-gosh we just love sharing these random tidbits with you via the world wide web.  Thing one — we at BLD have learned to embrace personal disappointment as the path to awakening. 2 — Babble has a new blog just for you daddy-; 3 —  while we reported on this last year, the smoking Indonesian 4 year old video somehow never gets old.  And finally 4 — a random holiday gift idea- super cool, can’t go wrong.

Some folks say “hey BLD how the heck can you rock a party in a MALL?”.  And we tell them folks, “well, its’ just a different style, but same energy”.  Case in point — the food court in the Clackamas Mall (Portland) will never be the same after we tore the roof off of it with this dance contest.

Those of you following us know all about the story of Samson and Toshi — the two 9 year olds that joined us on our fall tour.   Part of the deal the kids cut withschool in getting permission to leave school for so long was that (amongst other things) they needed to produce a blog.
