Baby Loves Disco has been around for almost 10 years. We were always a local party, set up in nightclubs all around the country and hosted by a group of great Moms (and one Dad). Two years ago, our friends at H&M asked us to try doing some Disco events at local malls — FOR FREE! While the culture and climate of a “Mall Gig” is way different from a “Club Gig” — one thing remans constant — the Dancing! This video right here will take you through a really great Mall Event from March of this year; and this video right here will give you the flavor of our Club events. Try both! You can’t go wrong.

It’s been far too long since we sang our disco song, in the great state of Texas, but we’re coming back in full force this Weekend!!!. Anchored by our return to Dallas (where we’ll be at the city’s #1 nightclub Thrive for a Friday evening dinner and a disco) and our Austin Debut @ the Rattle Inn - we’ll be bringing the big fun to the big star state. Sisters Alexis (aka “Lexi”) and Saide were 2 of the BLD Family Dance contest winners from San Jose on March 30th 2012. Part of their prize pack included a full makeover from H&M complete with a personal shopping assistant. Here’s a behind the scenes look at their shopping experience. We’ve been HUGE fans of Ella and her Kitchen for many years. When I read about their David vs. Goliath story on Cnn.com last week, it helped reignite my inner “eye-of-the-tiger ” that we need to keep us in the game as at BLD take on our own Goliath’s as we strive to stay alive in this ultra competitive Kids-Biz.
