::: SOME OF OUR FAVORITE GRANDPARENTS :::

1. JODEY ERENBERG
Hi Andy, we had the absolute best time at Baby Loves Disco! We partied till the end. As a grandmother born and raised in LA, it is hard to find something new and fun, this is it!!!!! I had more fun there then when I worked at the Whisky in the 60s. Great music, perfect setting, all essentials taken care of...you have it down. I have attached a photo and I am also sending you a video of Lula from YouTube under separate cover, dancing the day away at your wonderful event. It was great to meet you, I have already told all our friends to go next month. My husband already told his friends he partied at Social Hollywood till 1:45, didn't get home till after 2..............they don't have to know it was PM, not AM....and below you will find a note to my fellow grandparents - see you at the disco! To all Disco Grandparents, Isn't it great that we lived through (and created) the Disco era so we can now share this with our little ones? Somehow I can't imagine grandparents in the 1950s (when I grew up) participating with us the way we can with our grandchildren. After all, we have raised our kids, had to be the disciplinarians, most of us had to work, and now we get to party with our children's kids............too much fun. I say we dance, dance, dance with them till we need a hip replacement. Lucky for them we were the generation that embraced new music, love-ins, Eastern philosophies, yoga, health food, and yes, Disco! I love spending as much time as I can with my granddaughter and can't wait for more, all our hard work was worth it. WE are the fun ones, WE are the cool ones, WE are the ones who will have all the "vintage" clothes when they are ready for them, WE are the ones who have the music they will love, WE are the ones who will tie-die with them, it's true..........If 60 is the new 40 and 50 is the new 30, then grandparents are the new parents

Grandchildren give you another chance to matter in the minds and hearts of a young child; are a reflection of your days of active parenting; keep you young and informed about current best practices in all things related to nurturing the young; provide you the best excuse to spoil a person you will ever find; renew and reenergize your life’s meaning and direction; give you reason to smile as you watch your children raise their young; give you another opportunity to be silly and to make up answers to their endless questions to keep yourself from going crazy; grandchildren bridge your past and the future; they are the fulfillment of the biological imperative to populate the earth; they are an opportunity to correct the many mistakes we made; they are a vessel into which we commit our earthly possessions; they keep us busy and engaged; they keep us from falling into the existential angst of growing old; they make us smile, laugh, and dance; they are a living “thank you” from your children for the years you spent loving, caring for, nurturing, teaching, and supporting them; they cause us to love more, laugh more, hope more, and dance more; they are our message to a future we will never see. - Thank you, Maxwell Liam, Isadora Sol, and Ian Joaquin.

Being a grandparent is the coolest thing in the world. It made my retirement pleasurable. Now I have plenty of time not only for dancing (line dancing, ball room, disco, Latin, and ) which I love, but also time to visit, play with, enjoy, and dance with my grand daughter without pressure of time, schedules, appointments, or worries. Music and dancing would make kids happy. They are the universal language that would also make them connect easily with those from other lands and cultures. So, parents help your kids appreciate music and learn how to move, even belly dance. It is happy, it is fun. IF THEY CAN WALK THEY CAN DANCE.

4. MARGARET & RICHARD SPARZANI SALVI
She has the perfect name – “grand” child! She reminds us what delight there is in Suess, Carle, Rey, and so many others. She allows us to experience anew the magic of The Wizard of Oz, Cinderella, and Lady and the Tramp. She shows us the simple joy in playing tic, tac, toe, cutting up catalogs, and drawing pictures. She allows us to Shake, Shake, Shake ( our) Booty again, Rock the Boat, and Get Up and Boogie…and That’s the Way (We) Like It. Bubbie and Pop-Pop

not even sure how to begin. i guess, just from the beginning. the night i was told i was going to be a grandmother for the first time - it totally changed me. i thought about and loved baby immediately. that was almost 6 years ago. little did i know how really truly amazing it would be. spending time with my now 7 (by july 9) grandchildren has been the most fun i could ever imagine. i try to have fun parties as often as i can for no special reason, love doing silly suff that i never would have thought to do - going out for ice cream in my pj's, tons of sleep-overs and so much more. nothing can prepare you for my special title - nanny. p.s. almost forgot - seeing my children as parents does my heart good

6. JANE HURWITZ
In our grandchildren we see a bit of our parents, ourselves and most of all our children; the best of us all. They can do no wrong, they bring us only pleasure and we love them with all our hearts. What could be more fun than to watch them have the best time dancing at a Baby Loves Disco party!
