disco daddy's and boogie down mamas of the PDX - please pause for the cause as we search for a new home for baby loves disco. sure the crystal was great - but they can't give us dates with enough advance time that busy families like us need! and we wonder how great the wonder would have been if only there was a bar and more space. so now? the great BLD hunt is on. any ideas? let us know and we'll do the same. can’t until we find a new space? it's bld in a box: (i) practice your dance moves; (ii) move some furniture around to create space; (iii) download this awesome podcast of baby loves disco live in nyc (spun by dj ayers), and (iv) make some bubbles, call some friends and you’re good to go.

when we got to portland and started asking around for cool kids stores, many signs pointed directly to milagros. owned and operated by the funtes family (milagros means miracles in spanish), our favorite part about the store is their communit- oriented vibe, both on a local and global level. they offer wonderful natural, fairly-made, and recycled products, vegan shoes, cloth diapers, unique locally-made wood toys, and organic baby care products. check them out a: milagrosboutique.com

boy oh boy (and girl oh girl!) are we proud and excited to have the portland children’s museum not only as a sponsor of baby loves disco, but a participant too, as they bring their own flavor and favors to the chill out room. when we got back from our trip to Portland my youngest son charlie kept saying “wash the park, wash the park”.
