In 2006 the Baby Loves Jazz band released it’s debut album “Go Baby Go” to crit­i­cal  and awards . In 2007 each mem­ber of the band signed to a major book deal via Pen­guin Books; and now the band has pulled 46 tunes from  it’s song­book to cre­ate a spe­cially priced dou­ble cd set that’s guar­an­teed to keep kids (and par­ents) singing along.   A splen­did mix of kids clas­sics, orig­i­nal gems and edu­ca­tional inter­ludes.   CD pack­ag­ing comes with a BLJ col­or­ing book and band poster as well!  Com­posed and Arranged by some of the best young jazz musi­cians in new york city includ­ing:  Sharon Jones vocals [Ella Ele­phant]; Miles Grif­fen [Louis the Lion]; John Ellis (Char­lie Bird); Aaron Gold­berg (Duck Elling­ton); Omer Avi­tal (Min­gus Mouse) and Ali Jack­son (Philly Joe Giraffe) on drums.  Win­ner of the 2007 Amer­i­can Librarian’s Asso­ci­a­tion – Notable Audio Record­ing Award.  Win­ner Par­ents Mag­a­zine “Best Children’s Recording”.
