in each country baby loves disco has ‘host mums’ organizing the event. for the UAE, australian expat mums emma scorpo and kyla skues are hosting and running the show. emma’s idea to bring baby loves disco to the shores of the UAE came following a trip to london. the hype surrounding baby loves disco in the uk got her thinking and on the eve of her arrival back to dubai she contacted Andy Hurwitz one of the co founders in New York so see what he thought of making her a baby loves disco ‘international partner’. The answer was a resounding yes after a very successful october event emma realised that it would take more than one of her to run baby loves disco in the UAE, that’s when kyla skues came in to help her out!

Baby Loves Carnivale is super excited about Becky’s return on December 12th! Becky will be teaching the children a selection of fun and energetic dance routines to music including the wiggles for the younger kids, high school musical, mama mia, hannah montana and various pop songs for the older ones! This is a great opportunity for your child to learn some new dance moves! Becky is currently doing disco dance birthday parties and teaching classes every tuesday from 2.30-3.15pm at King's Dubai school, umm seqium. Ages approx 5-8yrs. The sun was shining, beats were pumping and families turned out in their hundreds to be part of Baby Loves Disco’s second UAE event on March 21st 2009. The mood was relaxed as parents lounged on beanbags, watching their kids dance and chill out as the day unfolded. There was lots of entertainment, highlights of the day included dance lessons given by UK dance instructor Becky Kerrigan, who showed every child how to disco dance like a pro! The crawling competition by Mamas & Papas had parents cheering in delight as their children crawled to the finish line. Chris Fisher dished up terrific tunes from the 70s, 80s and 90s, which put everyone in a disco dancing mood. His hilarious running commentary throughout the day put a smile on everyone’s faces.
Another true highlight toward the end of the event was the Mamas & Papas mini fashion show, where Mums and their tots modeled some of the new spring/summer fashion range.
Overall Baby Loves Carnivale was a great success.

ever changing local laws we needed to ensure this event was named differently and the
activities at this event are very carnivale....so Baby Loves Carnivale was born! There

Thanks for an amazing event. Baby loves Disco Dubai well and truly rocked the house! We launched with a bang and by the looks of things everyone had an amazing time. the dance floor was packed, Kids were having a ball; hula hoops, play scarves and maracas everywhere! There were tons of Dads joining in always a terrific sign and yummy mummies were chatting, dancing eating and enjoying the special time out with the family. A big thanks to Planet Hollywood for the amazing food that was being passed around. From the the homemade chicken fillet nuggets, to the delicious mini pizzas, fruit cups to the candy floss and popcorn machines. What a hit the food was with the kids and parents. I haven’t seen my daughters eat so much in ages! The babyshop magician was amazing and had the whole of the chill out zone watching his stage show mesmerized. The Hotwheels and Barbie play corners were a super popular and when the Real live Barbie made her appearance everyone was keen to get a shot with her. Make sure to check out our photo gallery in the near future to see if your picture was taken, we will get the pictures up asap. Chris Fisher spun terrific tracks to get everyone on the dance floor. Well done to the babyshop dance competition winners. Terrific little dancers :)
